Image Metadata & EXIF Viewer

Drop in an image — or paste an image URL — to see everything about it: exact dimensions, megapixels, aspect ratio, format, file size, and the full EXIF block when the photo carries one (camera, lens, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, date taken). It all runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

Scan a whole page, paste a direct image link, or drag & drop / paste an image to check one image instantly.

What you'll see

Dimensions & file

  • Width × height in pixels
  • Megapixels & aspect ratio
  • Orientation (landscape / portrait / square)
  • Format & exact file size

EXIF (photos)

  • Camera make & model, lens
  • ISO, aperture, shutter, focal length
  • Date taken & color space
  • A flag if GPS location is embedded

Privacy note: photos straight off a phone or camera often embed GPS coordinates in their EXIF. We flag it when present — and if you resize or convert the image here, the download comes out clean, with that metadata stripped.

Why it's private

Most online EXIF viewers upload your image to a server. This one reads the file locally with your browser's own APIs — the image never leaves your device, which matters when the file carries location or personal metadata.
